that stupid feeling of annoyance

I'm not sure how productive I've been, but I am slowly getting stuff done off my stupid list. I have a lot of distractions. Bulk of list is my promise of completing our main bathroom, but there are odd things I have never finished.

girls out of house

Work sucked this week until tonight. Too inane to relay details, just equipment issues that got mostly fixed. AW I had productive day at home in that the basement isn't a disaster. Did I mention a chipmunk was scurrying about the piles of clutter last Sunday?
J took the girls along while her mom and sister, as the latter did baby registry hopping, hence the opportunity to de-clutter.
They seemed like they were gone long, but I guess the service at O'Charley's sucked. J sent me a pic of B eating a bun there to torment K since he didn't go. Dude threw a fit almost messing up my tidy-ish basement. Basements can never truly be tidy, can they?
Ever feel Billy Pilgrimish? No explanation, aside from becoming unstuck in time, seems plausible for my basement endeavor... do you remember the pictures of when I felt motivated to do so? Think June... or whenever I was first trying the blogger app for android. Now I'm thinking about trains... I need to improve my quantity of Twitter following, for there are gaps that are void of  chatter. Mallets need not apply, but content to stimulate my duh, blah, mehs minus #Ferguson. Goal is to get to 500. Too many stupid tweets exist when I'm not bored enough to see what's going on in the outerdylands.

Meet the teacher

So the first day of school is two days away, K had been ill with a stomach bug, went to urgent care and seems better, but not quite normal. He ate toast and a popsicle since Friday without vomiting it up.
He felt well enough to go to meet the teacher tonight. Meh.
J came home early so I could have napped but I wasn't prepared for that and didn't. Weird day.
My mom called said my dad was being a jerk so he is feeling better from her point of view. Francisco Franco syndrome. Not sure what he's trying to prove. He's just spiteful these days. Swearing at his attending nursing staff and yelling at my mom. He's restrained because he is crazy and acting like a child... pulling at things and other impossibly stupid acts of irrationality.

Reality and scenarios

Not sure where I left off, but our noisy Whirlpool dishwasher that was leaking too is worst case scenario in that I flipped it over today and found it needs at least $130 in parts. Paid three hundred for the machine six years ago, and a rack is rusting and buttons were already falling off. Not sure worthwhile to bother fixing it.
I will not buy another whirlpool product again is my current sentiment. Felt that way about our Samsung washing machine when it died after three months, but it was under warranty and was fix at no cost to us though it was a major pain in the whatnot.
D was stuffy during week and was tugging at her ear today while K was at urgent care for his diarrhea and vomiting.
J was moody. Could have been worse if I didn't get her flowers yesterday, I guess. Sick kids will stress the best of us...
MagicJack has yet to port my number from Cincinnati Bell; not sure who sucks more customer service wise but MagicJack only uses chat bots, and they aren't bright enough to read your complaints to offer suggestions.

Blah of lack of sleep

So I am trying the blogger app for my android, while sliding my finger along the keyboard. Killing time because I'm tired beyond normal and don't want to wake the baby. So far, so good.
Listening to Lorde for noise. She is a baby favorite. I got burn out but I still like her.
I bleached last night at work and got gas before coming home. Was up with bleach burning every so often. I didn't cough once applying the stuff, which is scary considering I have gotten used to it somehow. Maybe I lack a sense of smell or have a bleach tolerance?
Wished I had my coffee thermos, everything tastes like bleach when I'm done using it. Water does at least.
Been making a few pots of coffee a day since I got new maker. All I drink all day long is coffee except water when I'm working and sweating myself silly.
I need to drink more to function in my blah of the now. Kids. Can't sleep with them home.
Dishwasher will be the death of me. Doubt I will get to it timely, no idea what part I get will work until install and such but getting there is a story in itself, right? Got the machine pulled from under counter but it's still connected and such. It's something that needs my entire focus and I cannot task it with my being responsible for the kids. Lame excuse, but I'm f ing tired and not thinking straight so why risk frying myself? It is on same series as whole downstairs so I don't want to cut power, understand?
Did I mention baby has a stuffy head? She's been irritated. Sleepy, mostly.
Between my blah and her snot... been fun.
