to do list gets longer

A Samsung washer is a nightmare to own. Had it three months when it first ceased to work. Two years later, error codes galore... and perpetual washing due to resets during the spin cycle.
Youtube had a fix. We shall see how it goes.
It's August, and still no deck. We shall see if I hear back from the builder.
Getting braces is not a fun matter. Even Invisalign is less than wonderful. Can't eat when I want. I have to floss and brush almost all the time, it seems. Oh, I'm looking at 51 trays, so close to 2 years of annoyance to endure. I'm not a masochist, but I will deal with the pain to get a lifetime of use from my teeth.
I'm not counting calories, at least until September. I lost 10 lbs and can fit my 30x32 jeans, again, so I'm taking a break from the calorie counting. I have Invisalign as my excuse, but I also have my Samsung phone. The latter is stupid, and it lacks space for Fitbit app.  I'll still Fitbit, but I won't have easy updates to make while on the go, so it's less of a factor in my daily life.
September is when I can expect to get on a schedule to do stuff... Heckle and Jeckle will be back in school so I can do stuff on my to do list, hopefully.

Reality and scenarios

Not sure where I left off, but our noisy Whirlpool dishwasher that was leaking too is worst case scenario in that I flipped it over today and found it needs at least $130 in parts. Paid three hundred for the machine six years ago, and a rack is rusting and buttons were already falling off. Not sure worthwhile to bother fixing it.
I will not buy another whirlpool product again is my current sentiment. Felt that way about our Samsung washing machine when it died after three months, but it was under warranty and was fix at no cost to us though it was a major pain in the whatnot.
D was stuffy during week and was tugging at her ear today while K was at urgent care for his diarrhea and vomiting.
J was moody. Could have been worse if I didn't get her flowers yesterday, I guess. Sick kids will stress the best of us...
MagicJack has yet to port my number from Cincinnati Bell; not sure who sucks more customer service wise but MagicJack only uses chat bots, and they aren't bright enough to read your complaints to offer suggestions.

$2.15

So K has a letter in his bag sent home from the school cafeteria stating he owes money, though I know he wouldn't eat anything there. It's  a pittance, so I don't care to argue. K had a fit when I gave him money this morning. I think it was more about being late for his spot in line for the bus than his letter from school.

J was home yesterday. She is off Friday for the kids' last day of school. She worked Sunday, and she is representing her work Saturday. Weird timing, but she's able to do her own schedule now. We ran errands between downpours. Felt bad at Aldi as the older gentleman in front of me in checkout had to return $20 worth of stuff for he was short. He only had EBT and a wad of cash. EBT had $32 on it and his wad of cash was less than $62, evidently. He apologized to me because the ordeal added 5-10 minutes to my shopping trip. I wish I had cash to have given him, but I imagine that would have made him feel worse.

Rain yesterday meant work was dead. I had three days off and didn't feel like staying the whole 5 hours I'm allotted. Tonight is gonna be horrid because I got pit  duty.

Got the new phones from Walmart, and we're doing the Family Mobile plan that's under $40/ line for unlimited calls, texts, and web searching. I hate Walmart, but their service is actually T-Mobile. I hate Walmart for the lack of employees capable of doing customer service. Just because the item is said to be available instore, doesn't mean it is. Ordering for instore pickup of Internet purchases is easy but actual pickup takes roughly 30 minutes to check out since they don't staff the Walmart.com counter. The "T-Mobile" tech support is probably in India. They are helpful, unlike their website https://www.myfamilymobile.com/.

Washer is working

Evidently the part came Friday, so the repair guy called Monday to get the appointment in early so he can get his day before vacay cleared. Works for me, but still annoyed that I had no idea when he left thursday morning when it would work again aside from the 7-10 days standard reply. Still not looking into anything Samsung.

Samsung means "three stars"

It's been a while since I've been this annoyed, but my annoyance with Samsung has brought me to the conclusion that no one should expect quality products from a company that seemingly rates itself as being average, for 3 out of 5 stars is average.

I've a very poor opinion of Samsung and the washer I once loved is viewed with loathing. I just expect it to be a paperweight indefinitely, since the repair guy that came today had to order a part and has no idea when he'll be back to install it. Normal people can't go two weeks without using a washing machine. I wonder if we'd have had this problem with the LG...

Dreadful event came two days later than normal

Our Samsung WA422 washer ceased to work on June 22nd at 1:30 am. It just didn't want to turn on. we bought it MARCH! So it breaking on a Friday night only 91 days after delivery SUCKED BIG TIME!

Obviously, I didn't expect much to get done at the time, but I called the number for Samsung support and got a prompt to try their website to chat. I chatted! Of course they ask the idiot questions like "is it plugged in?" or "do you have power at the outlet?" but in a less condescending manner by sending a "troubleshooting" link that has all the dumb questions that need to ask to make sure your beef is legit.

Wasn't much of chat before he said that I needed to request a service call that will usually take 2 business days before being handled. I got to the request during the day and had the must unpleasant experience using the Samsung site. I got a prompt that thanked me for my request and that they'd send someone July 22, 2011! Yes, Samsung evidently has the ability to travel back in time to fix things that didn't yet exist!
