Reality and scenarios

Not sure where I left off, but our noisy Whirlpool dishwasher that was leaking too is worst case scenario in that I flipped it over today and found it needs at least $130 in parts. Paid three hundred for the machine six years ago, and a rack is rusting and buttons were already falling off. Not sure worthwhile to bother fixing it.
I will not buy another whirlpool product again is my current sentiment. Felt that way about our Samsung washing machine when it died after three months, but it was under warranty and was fix at no cost to us though it was a major pain in the whatnot.
D was stuffy during week and was tugging at her ear today while K was at urgent care for his diarrhea and vomiting.
J was moody. Could have been worse if I didn't get her flowers yesterday, I guess. Sick kids will stress the best of us...
MagicJack has yet to port my number from Cincinnati Bell; not sure who sucks more customer service wise but MagicJack only uses chat bots, and they aren't bright enough to read your complaints to offer suggestions.

Dishwasher days

Ever have a day where you seem to be loading and unloading your dishwasher all day? Maybe it's because my days blur into another, but I swear I loaded the dishwasher and ran it yesterday and today twice.

It's the weekend and we didn't go to Steak'n Shake for the free kids' meals, so that's one reason we had dishes to clean, the another is that I made waffles this morning for K.

We have an Sunbeam waffle iron and use Krusteaz pancake/waffle mix. We buy the mix in 10lb bags at Sam's Club.
I always make a double batch since one batch doesn't quite last two days, while a double will last through the week. Usually, I use a Pampered Chef scooper.

Obviously, the Sunbeam waffle iron isn't dishwasher safe, but I ended up with a sink full after breakfast.

Sidenote: Nothing against Whirlpool, but I think my dishwasher may have had some defects to it since the lower rack is started to rust and the plastic button film cover broke off before the machine was a couple years old.   Looked into replacing these minor cosmetic matters, but it would be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher!
