The REDS called up Elly Dela Cruz. We saw him playing last year for the Dayton Dragons. The REDS suck, but called up their future star to play now.
Meanwhile, Henry Davis moved from Altoona to Indianapolis. What's the point of having a dude in Pittsburgh hitting .180 in an above average season, holding Davis' spot? Endy would be upgrade at the plate, as well.
Pirates should find a way to platoon Hayes. He's okay if not amazing as a fielder, but 3rd is a power position.
Shackelford is getting old for a prospect but he has a some power.
I also like Mason Martin, but the team still has Choi ahead of him. Meh.
