Reading more, another Resolution

I mentioned that we unloaded books that were collected dust the last couple times we hit Half Price Books, well, we kept quite a few.

I kept my favs, but I also kept ones I never finished. I truly plan to finish them, only I have to start from the beginning. My memory is good, but 15 years have passed on few items I have held onto out of spite.

I started Henry Fielding's Tom Jones. Though I was clearly on page 678, I'm starting from page 26. Yes, the table of contents is long. The narration is very meandering, so I can see why I never finished though I was 75% done. It's funny, but it's from a different era where context is above my understanding.

Oddly, 1751 was quite recent for the sort of stuff I read.
