Just completed my weekly unemployment claim. I look forward to having a job again so that I don't have to endure the rejection I get from having to apply for at least 2 jobs a week regardless if I have a chance of being considered or not for the position.
In the eyes of many recruiters, having a master's degree makes me overqualified, for they view me as someone that will be looking to move onto something better just as they have me trained. I can't blame people for their thinking, but that's not me. If a place is decent and the bills are being paid, I'm more than happy to stay put a while. My family comes first, but I try to do right by those that do me a favor. I like being busy, and if I'm overqualified for the job then let me work my way up to where I should be if I'm willing to start on a bottom rung.
