Still at it with the thatch rake

Didn't thatch a couple days. Had to rest seeing that I felt horrid Wednesday at my jobby job. I bought a 25 pack of lawn bags from Ace Handyman Hardware last week, and I could use them all with the thatch that I've encountered. They're not double bagged, so I started doubling them when I had a few tear.

So far I've filled 4 and a half bags. Garbage took three, so I'll stick to putting three bags out at a time to not piss them off.

It really doesn't take long to fill a bag. I've only done a fraction of my backyard. I'm trying to do parts of the yard that get shade, yet a lot of traffic from the kids first so that it can get seeded before fall and well on its way to GREEN before spring. Right now it seems like a mud patch with plugs of grass.
