candy

Last year, Halloween marked the starting point of my gain weight. It wasn't much, but it was roughly 20lbs by the time May rolled around. I lost weight doing Fitbit stuff for work, but it's not exactly staying off now that I'm eating Halloween candy.
Regardless, I'm contemplating candy for the mere purpose of enjoyment. It occurred to me that candy has been mostly the same varieties aside from smaller sizes since I was a kid. There was a time a new candy bar came out regularly. Does that happen anymore? Halloween used to be a time for experimentation.
I used to be very picky. I never ate peanuts until I was in college, so I was probably at least 20 when I had my first Snickers bar. Weirdly, I liked peanut butter so I ate things like Reese's Nutrageous without hesitation.
My brother told me that Hersery's Special Dark was nasty. I wasn't big on milk chocolate, so I never ate them growing up. Imagine my chagrin when I first had dark chocolate and realized it was what I was missing all of my life.
HMMMMMMMM ME LIKEY DARK CHOCOLATE!
