Everyone seems to call the recent time change "daylight savings," but it is the opposite, since DLS just ended.
Annoys me like the way people use "namesake."
My former employer claimed that a famous inventor of the same name was its namesake. What sort of idiot names a child after a hospital?
Both terms have an original meaning that has been disregarded to be interchangeable with its antonym.
I'm sure there are other examples, but those two are the two that come to mind.
