Sleep, naps, rest

Today was like two.

The morning/afternoon was geared towards B's swim class, trip to Meijer's (where they STILL double coupons), and  lunch at Steak'n Shake.

I finished another section of Dale Carnegie while at swimming, and I felt inspired.
I don't recall Meijer's much, but they didn't have Little Debbie Valentine Cakes.
Steak'n Shake was busier than normal. We didn't get a booth, but got our favorite waitress. We had to wait for out food much longer than normal, but I'm not gonna complain when the family of FOUR ate for under $10.

We got home and I essentially took a nap until after 6 when J's folks brought over a Red Velvet cake for her belated birthday. J's folks stayed until after I left for work. It was nice playing Uno with them and B before heading out.

Driving to work is uneventful. I just set the cruise and get there on time. I really don't have a set time to be there, but I can be there and be productive unless I get there after everything is closed.

I'm developing blisters on my feet. Calluses will develop, I guess.
Got totally drenched tonight doing what do of late, so I drove home wet.
I just set the cruise for the speed limit and motor home in the middle lane. A highway patrol car was out tailgating. I don't get their point unless they're out checking plates. I have the gps in the car to tell me my speed. For whatever reason, the Sebring reads faster than it's going. For example, 74 mph on the speedometer actually means I'm going 65 mph. So, I have to drive roughly 13% faster to maintain speed limits, you'd think. It's not simple to do with speeds under 60, so I have to depend on the flow of traffic when I don't have the gps.
Seriously thought tonight would be a very efficient work night. I was well rested and my stiff ness was feeling as though it had passed. I wasn't efficient, but I had reasons beyond my lack of stamina.  Hoses broke on me. One was odd, but two was maddening.
