Stuebenville

I grew up a half hour south of Stuebenville. The city was nationally famous for being the home town of Dean Martin and Traci Lords. The sheriff that has been in the news regarding the supposed gang rape that took place in August was sheriff when I lived in the area, which makes the headlines seem odd. Stuebenville is a city in a place where there's nothing to do really. It's 40 miles from Pittsburgh and 25 miles from Wheeling. It's crazy to think a rape case there would make national news, but there's video that can be seen anywhere and everywhere thus condemning everyone's guilt. Just makes me wonder if anything would have happened different if social media existed when Justin Hughes disappeared/died in 1994. Justin's family deserved better.
