Overtime

Saturdays are for college football. I have little emotional sentiment to this season given Jim Tressel's legacy at OSU including sanctions voiding any hope of a bowl game this season. I am still a Buckeye, so I can still like watching a well played game without strings attached to the bowl picture.

Wisconsin got beat at home and it was a good game. Football is a reality show that can be painful to watch if you are a fan of a horrid team, but if you are a fan of a top-tier team then you are in for visual poetry.

Football is a beautiful game to watch. Plays develop rapidly, and the catches and cuts made are at times unfathomable when even matched teams line up against another. Competition brings out the greatness in team sports for the variations of outcomes are designed by coaches with x's and o's which require athletic ability and mind of body determination to them carry out.

Even the best laid plans fail.

Dropped passes, Fumbles, Coverage sacks, Missed tackles, Tipped balls, and Bad penalty calls happen.

The box score doesn't reflect the fluke plays, but the outcome of the games does.
