I usually refrain from saying I'm bored but I've nothing happening which makes me feel enthused about doing anything.
The news is just filled with garbage that suggests that pending doom is surely upon the horizon.
Started shopping around for auto and home insurance since our annual policies are up next month. GEICO commercials always makes you think you could save a boat load by switching, but I figure looking every few years keeps the insurance companies honest with their rates. Blind loyalty is for suckers. I saved quite a bit by switching from Grange to AAA, and I save a bit when I went from AAA to Liberty Mutual. AAA started upping their rates so that the savings wasn't quite the same. Liberty Mutual isn't on any naughty list, but I am paying more than I did a couple years ago though my cars and home are older and no claims have been made.
Bankrate.com has a link which allows you to submit your info to a number of insurance companies who in turn contact you with quotes.
Not exactly fun, but it's something to occupy my time seeing that nothing relevant to my job hunt is seemingly available of late.
