Does anyone remember Billie Jean?

So I am reading in the news that Justin Bieber penned a song about false claims about paternity.  The lack of a mention of any similar songs by other pop superstars throughout the years made me disappointed. Doesn't anyone remember The Prince of Pop's second single off of Thriller? I feel old.
