We got a season ticket package for the local minor league team. Our regular seats are directly behind the visitors' dugout. Great seats with no one sitting in front of you.
We couldn't attend a couple games last couple weeks, so we exchanged our last 2 games' tickets for alternate games. The game we went to on the 12th was by far our worst experience. We were seated further down the 1st base side in the outfield, 6 rows back.
Random groups were around us. I think they were mostly a church or such group. They had too many kids and the ignored them and the game.
Kids didn't sit much and kept hopping up and down on their seats.
Hopefully the kid eating peanut shells off the ground gets worms.
Who takes kids to game and not care they're eating stuff off the ground?
They cared about the ground food after the fact, but they were too busy talking to each other. They didn't turn their heads to see what happened when balls were hit and the home team scored a run.
Sad.
We left after the 4th inning. Hopefully, our last game isn't as dreadful.
