Regardless, Saturday, the 16th of July, I was having a wonderful day. I woke up around 6am. Got donuts for the family. Went to Sam's Club gas station twice to fill-up 2 of the 3 cars since they were on E and everywhere had gas well above $4.08/gallon. (As I type, it's $3.88 there.)
Everyone was still asleep so I walked to the cemetery and back. It's an hour walk, yet everyone was still asleep at 8:30. I think they got up around 9. I didn't get donuts for myself. I would like to not have a dad bod whenever we go to the beach again.
Anyways, the girls went to get their hair done and the 18 y/o went to work around 11:30 and 2. The girls came back around 5, and I still hadn't eaten anything.
I was expecting them home sooner with sandwich meats, only to find out they didn't bring back anything I would eat. I was annoyed. I ate nachos and cheese and sulked in the basement. A couple hours later, I had chills and a fever so I went to bed.
I slept with chills and fever until I had to get out of bed at 10:44am Sunday morning to drive to Aldi, since the Atlas was in their lot and would not start. It was pouring down rain galore, but I got her jumped without trouble.
After the groceries were put away, I took a home COVID test. The 2 lines appeared almost immediately. Went back to bed and stayed there until... I have no idea, but I know I had vertigo at one point while laying in bed.
My fever and chills were probably gone, but I was still sweaty when I felt the world flip and spin around me.
It's now Wednesday, and I basically have a head cold. I'm taking OTC stuff for fluid in my ear and congestion, but I still feel dizzy at times.
- Fever
- Chills
- Headaches
- Body/joint aches
- Congestion
- Runny nose
- Runny eyes
- Lack of appetite
