Father's Day weekend brought about the discount price for MLB dot TV. I got the free 7 day trial with the intention of actually spending $59.99, but the Pirates are blacked out today while playing the Marlins due to Apple TV having the broadcast.
I was annoyed about the 10 game losing streak, but not being able to use the service for a game that has no business being blacked out given where I live and teams involved aside from evil Apple, I canceled.
I am reminded of when I bought a new laptop from Best Buy a few months ago. Seemed like a good price, but I was ignorant of Microsoft Windows 11 home in S Mode. It failed to work. After going through all the set-up prompts, the machine wouldn't let me do basic things. It must have crashed, because it was a black screen when I rebooted it. Returned the machine very disappointed. I am now firmly anti- Windows 11 Home in S Mode.
