Back when I had free time and had insomnia when I didn't pass out, I was gonna write a book and I was gonna have the characters have online personas, so once the book was out there people would already have a personal connection to the fictionals. Guess what year this was. If you said last century, I owe you a Coke. Reason, I figured you'd not guess spring of 2000 was the lack of social networking sites to make interaction simple. Sure collegeclub.com existed and AIM was the greatest thing, but I was thinking of using email and sending spam of the chainletter/forward variety. Idea didn't go too far for free time aside, I wasn't THAT bored.
I wonder if the people of twitter are real. Robots with canned phrases of wonderment.
William S. Burroughs would probably write a book consisting of the collage of tweets in his feed, and it would make more sense than Naked Lunch. 1nice_laura subtweets so much her feed is like being malletized.
I do not understand the point of being snarky in plain sight but out of context to followers. Snarky is gonna be the death of someone.
Hashtags are also annoying if no one uses them the same way.
I had more thoughts, but now I'm thinking of trains, and my frustration with J being mean all the time of late. Being sick sucks but there's no need to be a jerj.
