Finally took K and B to Boonshoft since getting membership passes from their uncle. The museum was packed due to it be a day off from most school observing President's Day.
Thankful for the GPS, for Dayton is a scary place to a suburbanite like myself, but there's also the crazy decade long construction project "fixing" I75's flow through the city.
I just wish I had GPS devices for K and B for they wandered in opposite directions once we left the cloak room. I tried following B but lots of the places had low ceiling for the kids to feel like adults. When B started to go up and down the rope net ladder to the second floor slide, I positioned myself at the second floor. After a few times up and down, B ceased to be emerging periodically from the ladder, I looked around for her. I found K and asked him if he saw B. He hadn't, so I told him to stay on the first floor and keep an eye out for her. I went all alone the perimeter of the second floor without leaving the area through any doors. B wouldn't wander through a door, so I figured she was somewhere amongst the crowd of kids.
The short of the story is I went to the gift shop to see if there were other exits and gave description off B. B was spotted within moments playing in an alcove that I can understand over looking her presence there.
I'm very happy that she was safe and I think I made it clear to her to be sure to let me know where she's at all the time.
