Not sure what year it was, but back when Howard Stern had a non-satellite radio show that was filmed on E! there was a guy that wanted his band to appear on his show. Stern was like what will you do to get on the show? All I remember is the dude's girlfriend stuffed tampons up her nose and made a mockery of herself on the crowded streets and the dude never got around to getting the band together.
Obviously I thought of the show because I just saw a picture a person making a fool of herself with a pair of "earrings."
