No idea who my favorite Doctor from Doctor Who is, but I have come to watch hours upon hours since completing Twin Peaks. Don't see myself watching each episode since they are like the X-files in that some episodes can be left alone and forgotten as occurring.
Used to watch the Tom Baker episodes semi-regularly on PBS back when they showed them Saturday night. Used to watch the episodes from Season One of the newer version on PBS as well. Lost interest when PBS stopped showing different episodes. Just as well that Netflix doesn't have the classic episodes seeing that they were cheezy at times in the FX department.
Breaking Bad is a show that you can't skip around, but Doctor Who you can to a certain extent. The arch is more defined into clumps rather than piece meal episodes. Didn't realize there were spin-off until I was trying to piece together what clumps were missing.
Something about Tennant makes his Doctor seem to be the best of those I've seen, but the episodes with Smith seem to be better developed story-wise.
