Boil Water Advisory

Monday we got a text, call, and email from the city warning us about a water main break that required parts of the city to boil their water. We were not part of the city that had to boil, but the whole city has to limit water usage because of the heat and lack of rain.

While we were at the festival, we got a text stating that all of the city was to boil water. Didn't say for how long, but we weren't home, so we didn't have to worry about it at the time.

There was a time where we had a water main break too frequently, so we wised up and put 10 gallons of water away to a not-so-rainy-day. That was back in December of '09, and this is our first need to use the water since we put it aside.

The only time that it makes sense to buy bottled water is when tap water will give you diarrhea.
