Offshoring vs. Outsourcing

While prepping for my lesson for my IT Lit & Research class, I came across a video comparing Cloud Computing to the origins of the Electrical Grid. See companies made their own power by generating steam and were hesitant to OUTSOURCE their energy production but relented, thus the grid was born.

Evidently, the video was based on the book The Big Switch: Rewiring the World, From Edison to Google by Nicholas Carr.
