Our street is narrow, but we can park on both sides of it. Our lot is pie slice shaped, so we have more curb than house across the street. At our part of the block, most houses have a single attached garage.
We have 3 cars and 3 drivers. I leave the earliest and park on the street to the left of the driveway. My son parks on the street on the other side of the driveway since his mom parks inside and comes and goes while he is at the house.
Our new neighbors across the street have 2 cars. They usually park in in their driveway, but whenever we're not all home, they park one car in front of our house 3/4 of a car length from our driveway.
Our street is basically horse shoe shaped connected to another street with a cul-de-sac directly across from my neighbors to the left, so there's no reason for them to not park in front of their own house.
