Tires pt. 2

Tires are expensive. They're visible, and you can sense when they're not doing well. It doesn't take a genius to know a tire needs replaced.
Not all tires are the same. Not all tire dealer carries the name brand tires already on your vehicle.
It's almost always cheaper in the long run to replace all tires, if one fails, it seems.

In November, Sam's Club had a "sale" of $70 off various sets of 4 and $40 off installation.

The tires I wanted had to to be shipped to store and I had to got the store to schedule the installation. They're understaffed, so no one ever answered the phone.
Tires came in November 30th but I couldn't get the tires installed until TODAY.

I spent $150 less on tires this time over last time at Tire Discounters. Not exact same tire but I got Michelins with 80k mile warranty to replace Michelins with 80k mile warranty.

I'm not sure how I feel. Grismer offers 4 free oil changes with tires, so I got the Journey's tires there a few years ago. The car had issues after the last free oil change, so I suspect the free oil changes hurt the car since the regular mechanic does a thorough job.

Before Grismer, we used to go to Tire Discounters, but the service dropped off along with the confusing pricing levels they have instituted.

Tires. Saving $150 is the roughly the price of a tire.
I think we got $27 cashback from Ibotta while we'll get 5% for using the Sam's Credit Card and being Plus members.
