just one of those nights where a thought gets in my head

Mass shootings occur and the focus is always on the gun(s), and how the person got the gun(s).
I just wonder what made the person do it in the first place. Did they plan to get away with their murdering people in broad daylight with tons of witnesses? Did they plan to get caught? Did they plan to die?

Obviously, something is wrong with these people and the root to their problem is needed to end senseless murders.

It's one thing to kill out of passion or out of greed, but to kill random people minding their own business just for the sake of killing innocent people is beyond my comprehension.
